What a playground should be!

We were having some fun building last weekend, and we ended up making the "ideal" playground according to my kids!

The Playground!

It has a slide, a "climbing wall" (the net), a "ladder" (the web) and stairs!

As winter approaches these memories may be all we have until the spring.

Miscellaneous Creations

I was playing LEGO with my kids the other weekend, and was requested to make each of them a vehicle.  My younger son wanted a yellow airplane with a flip-up cockpit, and the older one wanted a blue race car.  The results (with their chosen drivers included):

The best part is that our LEGO collection grows we are starting to have enough pieces to actually put some interesting options together!

Our Family?

This is the "scene" of our family that my sons put together for my desk at work.  Apparently I am a knight now?  Who knew?!?

It's neat to see how they wanted to depict themselves, especially with the "accessories" they chose.

Advent Calendar

This is my 3rd year running that I have been given a Lego City advent calendar.

Each day I get to open something fun, I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes Lego!  I have been doing it each morning with my oldest son, he gets a kick out of them too.

This year there seems to be more building, and a few less mini-figures, though there is still a few days to go.  I am enjoying being able to build a few more things, so I hope that trend continues!  Some compilation pictures (usually at least a few days together) are below.

Some of the more "city" type things.  The clock tower and lamp post were a lot of fun to build

Welder

The Welder has been my favourite minifigure to date.  He is from Series 11, and was the first minifigure I opened.

My favourite part is that he is unshaven, with a dirty face.  Talk about stereotypes!
